Our experience with Tim from "The Little Out of Towner's" couldn't
have been better. He met us at the rental car place with our Britax
Marathon car seats in a timely manner. When we arrived at our rental
home, the cribs were all set up, sheets and all. What a relief when we
arrived late at night and our kids (and their parents) were tired and
cranky.
We also rented 2 pak 'n plays. All the equipment was in excellent
condition - very clean and nearly brand new. Tim was excellent at
communicating: he returned my calls promptly and called a week
before our trip to confirm everything.
We have traveled with our own car seats, we have rented car seats
from the rental car companies (horrible car seats and difficult to install
- wouldn't recommend it) and now we have tried baby equipment
rental and the latter by far has been the best choice in terms of ease
while traveling. Tim's prices are a steal for the quality and
convenience and we will definitely be using his services again the next
time we are in the Charlotte area. Thank you, Tim!
Tim, I can't thank you enough for all that you did to make our trip
possible. Had it not been for the Little Out of Towner's, I wouldn't
have traveled to NC with my two kids (ages 2.5 years old and 1 year
old). The thought of lugging all the equipment on a plane, through the
airport, and then to a rental car just didn't seem appealing to me.
However, thanks to your WONDERFUL service, it all worked out
beautifully. From waiting for us at the airport with all the gear
(everything was perfect and exceeded my expectations), to
purchasing a carrier backpack for us to use, you went above and
beyond the call of duty. We had such a ball hiking/hanging out in the
North Carolina mountains, and none of it would have been possible
without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thanks to your
company, you've shown me that it is possible to travel with little ones
and enjoy it at the same time!

My wife, 9 month old son and I recently traveled to Charlotte to visit
family. We rented a convertible car seat from TLOT. Not having to
travel with our son's car seat made life a lot easier. The car seat itself
was in great condition, practically brand new. Next time we're in
Charlotte we'll definitely rent from TLOT, most likely next time we'll
be renting much more than the car seat.

Thank you so much. We traveled over Labor Day weekend to the
Rock Hill, SC area, and the process was painless thanks to your
company. We stayed with our elderly aunt, and had a toddler car seat
and pack and play delivered to her house. She said the delivery person
was right on time. The equipment was clean, and it was so convenient
to arrive without having to carry a car seat through three airports
(Dallas Love, Houston International, and Charlotte)!
The customer service was great. Tim answered all of our numerous
questions, and promptly returned e-mails. We will definitely use this
service again when we come to visit the family next June!
Your service was a great thing for us. First, because we did not have
to bring our car seat on the plane (or check it as luggage). Second,
because we did not have to check a pack and play. The less we
brought with us, the better off we were. Out daughter is under 2, so
we could hold her in our lap on the plane. Meaning, no extra seat to
purchase.
We brought all of our stuff as carry on or gate checked items.
We wanted to skip the whole lost baggage scenario.
That would not be good to loose a car seat or baby bed.
